Participating in San Diego County Library's Page One Book Festival October 16-18, 2009

Hello all,
Just wanted to share that I have been invited
to participate at San Diego Library's One Book Festival on October 17, 2009., at 11 am.

I will be sitting in on a panel with two other
middle grade authors, Dr. Virginia Loh and Carolyn Marsden. I will be speaking on illustrating and nonfiction, and my book, A Boy Named Beckoning: The True Story of Dr. Carlos Montezuma, Native American Hero. Published by Carolrhoda/Lerner.
